Competition: International Summit Awards
Get your projects ready for the International Summit Awards, formerly known as STC’s International Competition. Competitions are open to technical communication professionals. You do not have to be a member of STC to participate, but all entrants must submit their entries to the local* STC Chapter for processing.
*As with last year, STC Southwestern Ontario will be accepting all submissions on behalf of Canadian Chapters, including STC Alberta (in other words, when it is time to submit your entry to your local chapter, consider STC Southwestern Ontario as such; any entries received by STC Alberta will be forwarded to STC Southwestern Ontario). Visit the website to learn more, or to volunteer as a judge.
The deadline for submitting entries to STC Southwestern Ontario is January 20, 2012. Judging will be completed by Canadian volunteers before the entries are forwarded to the head office in USA for final judging. STC Southwestern Ontario will submit your entries to head office by the official deadline of February 10, 2012. Get all the details and forms for entering by visiting STC.org.
Competitions have two tiers:
- Local or regional (community)
- International (Society-wide)
In the following categories:
- Informational Materials
- Instructional Materials
- Promotional Materials
- User Support Materials
